As you head for your room, one feature you won't miss is the impressive double story lounge area topped by a soaring palapa roof.  Open to the breezes but shaded from the sun, this is a delightful spot for an afternoon siesta.  Further inside on the lower level is the hotel's bar.  Colorful paintings by local artists form a mini gallery on the rear walls, and plump white cushioned sofas are inviting.  For the more energetic there is a snooker table upstairs.
