Activities are endless in this Eco-traveler's dream destination of Belize. From the central coastal location local guides lead excursions to visit Mayan ruins, the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, Blue Creek Reserve and Monkey River, or try your hand at fishing or snorkeling on the reef.

There are more than 450 cayes (an island of sand or mangroves) off the coast. The majority of the cayes are uninhabited and virtually unexplored. The water surrounding them is teeming with marine life of all sizes. You can paddle leisurely out to False Caye in one of our canoes.

A favorite pastime is birdwatching in the mangrove lagoon or out on neighboring cayes. Glass-bottom canoes, windsurfers and hobie cat sailboats are available for rent, along with bicycles. Kick back and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at the Green Parrot Resort.

We buy fresh seafood every day from the local fishermen, and the delicacies that we serve include baked fresh grouper with pink peppercorn sauce, and conch fritters with a spicy-chili dipping sauce. The restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner.

The lunch menu consists of 10-15 a la carte choices. The dinner menu offers two or three main course choices, with appetizers and desserts available separately. Rest assured, you will enjoy a fabulous meal in a lovely setting with a great view of the Caribbean Sea.

Walking on the beach, star gazing from our dock (they are spectacular here!), wathcing the sun rise, or just sitting on the beach and listening to the tide roll in are just a few of the things that make you realize, you are in paradise!
