West Bay's crystal clear waters hold the delights of the world's second largest reef in a protected marine park, making Roatan one of the top dive destinations in the world. The wonders of the reef can also be easily appreciated by snorkeling directly off the beach in front of the resort.

Cabana Roatana serves freshly prepared breakfast and lunch, as well as lighter snack fare. In addition, we are a short beach walk from several West Bay restaurants. The bustling town of West End, with a larger selection of restaurants and night spots, is a short water taxi ride away.

Roatan is on the second largest barrier reef in world which extends from Mexico down south and through the Bay Islands.  The Islands offer greatly diversified wall diving at each of the islands where the walls can start at fifteen, forty or even sixty feet. The reefs along these walls are abundant in stony corals and colorful sponges.  It is a fitting finale to this journey along the Great Maya Reef.
