Couples Ocho Rios is situated on 19 acres of beach front property, 5 miles east of the town of Ocho Rios, one of Jamaica's major shopping areas (approx. 10 minutes drive). Sixty-five (65) miles from Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (approx. 2 hours drive).

Transfers:
Transfers between Couples and Montego Bay Airport are included.  Arrival flight information is to be provided prior to the arrival date (on making reservation). Departure information is provided by the guest on check-in. The hotel will re-confirm your departure flight.  Upon arrival at Montego Bay Airport, guests should proceed to the Couples desk, located outside Customs, and inform the representative that they are guests of Couples Resorts.

Shopping in the town of Negril, Trip to Rick's Cafe, Glass Bottom Boat Reef Trip, Daytime and Sunset Catamaran Cruise and Golf. (transfers and greens fees INCLUDED) (Tours may be booked at the Guest Relations Desk on the property.)

Accepted Currency:
The Jamaican dollar is the legal tender in Jamaica.  We are happy to exchange currency for our guests on property.  However, most merchants will accept U.S. dollars or traveler's checks as well as major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Entry Documents:
U.S. and Caribbean citizens will need a current passport or a certified copy of a birth certificate.  All other International guests will need to verify that they have the necessary visa and/or documentation in order to enter and exit Jamaica.

No Tipping Policy:
Couples Resorts places a strong emphasis on our No-Tipping Policy.  Once you arrive on our property, a friendly 'thank you' is the best tip you can give, and the only one allowed.  (Outside our resorts tipping is customary for all airport baggage personnel, taxi drivers, etc.)
