Day 1: Today your introduction to many of the wonders of Costa Rica begins with your arrival in San Jose where you will be met and transferred to the Best Western Irazú. (2 nights)

Day 2: We will begin discovering Costa Rica’s wonders visiting the Poas Volcano. The biggest geyser crater in the world. A scenic drives past coffee and sugar plantations, up to the top of the Poas Volcano National Park. Observe the enormous crater with its deep green lake, hike into one of its many trails at this national Park. Then visit Sarchí, the artesian town known for its wood work and oxcart factories.    Breakfast at hotel. Snack & lunch included during the tour.

Day 3: Today’s exciting journey takes you up to the majestic Arenal Volcano, the countrys most active with continuous eruptions, and includes a visit to the rejuvenating Tabacon Hot Springs, then another chance to gaze at the volcano by night.  Accommodation at Tabacon Resort Hotel or similar.( 2 nights).  Breakfast at hotel & dinner included during the tour.

Day 4: Discover one of Costa Ricas most important conservation area at Caño Negro Wildlife Reserve.  Cruise down a jungle river, and observe innumerous species of birds and wildlife.  Breakfast at hotel & lunch included during the tour.

Day 5: Enjoy the scenic drive over the mountains and down to the Central Pacific Coast.  The Jaco Beach Hotel will be your base of exploration for the next 2 nights. (Transfer will be done using regular scheduled transportation). Breakfast & lunch included.

Day 6: Manuel Antonio National Park, considered by many to be Costa Ricas most beautiful park, is on todays agenda, awaiting you with its white sandy beaches, tropical foliage and wildlife. Soft drinks will be offered on the beach. Breakfast at hotel & lunch included during the tour.

Day 7: Early morning walk through Carara National Park. Discover the wonders of this transitional tropical forest, home of the scarlet macaw while taking a morning walk with a naturalist tour guide. We will head to San Jose, past noon, staying the last night at the Best Western Irazú. Breakfast included.

Day 8: Farewell to Costa Rica.  Transfer out to the international airport. Breakfast included.
